A far better time to drink your cup of coffee is between 9:30 and 11:30 am. During this time, the cortisol levels are lower.

-Lunch Time

For the same reasons mentioned above, it is counterproductive to drink coffee between 12 and 1 pm.

You cortisol levels will get lower  after 1 pm again. Most of us are familiar with that feeling of post-lunchtime sleepiness. So, if you drink a cup of coffee between 1:30 and 5, you will boost your energy levels.

– Directly After A Meal

The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition discovered that drinking coffee with a meal or during the hour after the meal will reduce iron absorption by 44%. This effect is even higher if the coffee contains sugar or milk.

A Better Alternative:
