People often call eyes the windows to the soul. In fact, the eyes do provide lots of information about another person’s emotional state. But, along with the emotional state, the eyes can provide you with information about your physical health condition.
HERE’S WHAT THESE SYMPTOMS MEAN:
- Redness and bloody eyes
This might be a reason for worries. Don’t ignore this visible sign of health problems. The reasons why your eyes can get the red color are sun exposure, dust exposure, colds, allergies and dry air. If the redness doesn’t remove in a week or two, you should visit your doctor.
- Fatigue eyes
While reading a book or spend time on the internet, your eyes get tired, but if this happens too soon, per example after reading few pages. The fallowing signs such as dark circles under the eyes appearance, blunt look, and swollen eyes are a reason for concern. They indicate a poor circulation issue. Give your eyes rest, and eat more healthy foods with vitamin A in them, to improve the vitality of your eyes.
- Yellowish eyes
Yellow color in the eyes might be a sign of:
- Liver disease or liver injury: Liver problems cause a type of jaundice known as hepatocellular jaundice.
- Breakdown of red blood cells: When red blood cells are broken down too quickly, there is an increase in bilirubin production.
- A blockage in the bile duct system: When the tubes that carry the bile from the liver to the gallbladder and intestines get blocked, bilirubin can’t leave the liver and builds up excessively. This type of jaundice is called obstruction jaundice.
- Bulging eyes
- If almost everyone in your family has it and it last for generations that mean that you have an overactive thyroid gland. That makes your eyes swell.
