We all know that nutritionists all over the world recommend drinking low-fat or fat-free milk. But recently, a lot of experts claim that it is healthier to drink and eat dairy products with all the fatty acids they contain.

It is a well-known fact that raw, natural milk is rich in nutrients, but the scientist from Harvard claims that the common dairy products can cause numerous health problems as they contain many artificial sweeteners. So, one cup of 2-percent milk contains 12.3 grams of sugar, which is more than a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and as much as sugar found in tasty chocolate chip biscuit.

David Ludwig has published a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association Pediatrics, in which he talks about numerous dangerous effects of sugar-sweetened beverages. The excess amount of sugar is linked with diabetes, inflammations, obesity and many other medical conditions. Also, the United States Department of Agriculture, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and other organizations are also claiming that caloric beverages are extremely harmful.

A study from 2005 published in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine included 12,829 children, aged between 9 -14 years. The study showed that drinking low-fat milk caused weight gain unlike whole milk.
